How Did Glasgow Schools Perform in the School League Tables 2019?
The performance levels of pupils across the country have been graded based on the percentage of school students gaining five or more awards at SCQF level six, equivalent to Highers in the previous curriculum.
Glasgow’s Jordanhill Secondary School, the only state-funded secondary not in council control, topped the list.
Higher achieving schools tend not to have large numbers of pupils from deprived areas yet emain an important marker for parents.
High performing Glasgow school include the Glasgow Gaelic School, which had the tenth best results in Scotland, Hyndland Secondary, which came 32nd, and Notre Dame High School, which came 40th.
