Christmas Lights Switch-On, West End, Glasgow

The West End looks like THE place to be this Sunday as the Christmas lights will be switched on in Vinicombe Street. The Christmas market begins at noon with local shops selling gifts, crafts, food and drink.

Ashton Lane is also being transformed into a magical winter wonderland (as if it wasn’t pretty enough!) and Santa and his reindeer fly in for a visit too. The event is free for all the family.

Pop along to Vinicombe Street from 12 noon to 6pm. Don’t forget about the West End Window Wonderland – a window decorating competition that runs 25 November – 31 December.
